The project involves the demolition of two deteriorated existing buildings and the construction of two private houses on a 437 sqm site. The new homes provide a combined floor area of 287.4 sqm and are designed as two simple, nearly identical volumes.
Each house includes an entrance hall, an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, and an integrated garage on the ground floor. The upper floor accommodates two bedrooms and a study, with additional convertible attic space above. Each property also benefits from a separate outdoor parking space.
Positioned towards the rear of the site, the buildings create generous private gardens with a full southern exposure. Their contemporary design draws on the traditional residential character of the neighbourhood through light-rendered façades, carefully proportioned openings and dark tiled mansard roofs. The restrained use of materials and simple volumes enables the project to integrate naturally into its surroundings while providing comfortable, bright and functional family homes.
