A Reimagined Vision for the Yên Thắng Golf Resort Project
The current plan for the Yên Thắng Golf Resort project positions it as a golf course complex supplemented by basic resort services. Visitors primarily come to play golf, then relax in the scattered accommodations around the course. While functional, this approach restricts the project to a conventional sports and leisure facility. This overlooks the unique natural beauty of Ninh Bình and underutilizes the site’s immense potential.
As the design team, we recognize the need to elevate this project beyond conventional thinking. Our vision aims to transform Yên Thắng Resort into a multifunctional urban resort that befits the prestige of a high-caliber golf resort.
Key Design Philosophy :
The new design concept emphasizes balancing functional development with the preservation and regeneration of natural spaces. By introducing creative public spaces, we aim to foster greater interaction among culture, place, and nature, rethinking service structures to cater to a broader and more diverse clientele.
We envision the project as an ecosystem where humans are integral and at the center. By using nature and public spaces as connective infrastructure, the resort becomes a sustainable, multidimensional, harmonious, and balanced environment.
Strategic Solutions :
To realize this vision, we propose four strategic approaches:
- Developing the Golf Course into a Multifunctional Urban Complex
- The resort will be organized into smaller zones, adopting a multi-centered, open structure for a more diverse and vibrant urban layout.
- Introducing Multifunctional Amenities for Diverse Experiences
- Expanding visitor activities beyond golf to include playing, dining, sightseeing, exploring, learning, and relaxing.
- Leveraging and Enhancing Natural Resources
- Utilizing Yên Thắng’s freshwater lake to create recreational areas that serve the broader community.
- Connecting Dispersed Zones with a Green Belt
- Establishing a pedestrian and bicycle-friendly green corridor with outdoor functions, seamlessly linking all zones while promoting sustainable and active mobility.
