MyTam House is located on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, in a prime and central location of Da Nang Bay. The house was built to serve as a gathering and retreat place for the owner and their extended family during weekends. Therefore, the house needs to fulfill all functions and amenities suitable for a multi-generational family.
The facade of the house faces directly toward the beach, thus the main design concept focuses on indoor-outdoor connectivity, as well as creating spaces that can enjoy the complete seascape: “At every moment, from every angle of the house, we can view and experience the sea through different frames.”
To prioritize green space and privacy, the house is set back from the street, dedicating part of the area to gardens with abundant surrounding greenery. This also serves as a protective layer for the house against noise and dust from the main traffic artery.
Passing through the gate, we immediately encounter a terrace area with various types of vegetation and plants. Multiple small garden patches arranged in a terraced pattern combined with large shade trees add coolness and comfort before entering the house.
The open living room space continuously connects to the dining room and kitchen, from where users can view through from the sea to the backyard garden area. The main garden located in the middle extends to the back of the plot, helping to connect all resting, relaxation, and living activities of the entire family.
The main bedrooms are all designed to ensure direct views of the sea. Additionally, the rooftop floor is an elevated entertainment space with unlimited views of the seascape.
Furthermore, the main facade of the house is designed with two layers: a sliding ventilation door layer and a glass layer. This solution creates both a dynamic facade and ensures privacy for users.
